Job summary

Ragan Communications is seeking an Editorial Lead of Conference Programming to drive content for conferences, webinars, and training for virtual and live events. Lead speaker recruitment, craft compelling agendas, and develop engaging topics for communications professionals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in editorial/writing, with experience producing live/virtual content. Domestic travel 4–5x/year is expected, in a dynamic events team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, media or related field.
• 7+ years editorial/writing experience.
• Experience producing content for live and/or virtual events preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to juggle fast-moving projects.
• Ability to travel domestically 4–5x per year.

Responsibilities

• Recruit/liaise with industry experts as speakers for live and virtual conferences, workshops and webinars.
• Write conference agendas that sell tickets and engage audiences.
• Develop session topics and agendas that resonate with professionals.
• Plan and host/moderate sessions on live or virtual stages.
