Job summary

U.S. News & World Report is seeking an experienced content creator to join the editorial team behind live events, including in-person conferences, virtual events and salons.

You will plan sophisticated programming on health, education and related topics, working with thought leaders and collaborating across teams. You will help develop Healthcare of Tomorrow content, translate insights into news features, Q&As, social clips and newsletters, and serve as a strong, independent contributor with

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in events, content/programming, communications or journalism.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and players.
• Strong communications skills and collaborative, adaptable mindset.
• Ability to work independently and with diverse teams.
• Polished public presentation skills for moderating panels and interviewing executives.

Responsibilities

• Drive Event Strategy and Execution with the events team to brainstorm topics and programming.
• Develop Session Programming aligned with industry trends and audience insights.
• Recruit, prep and onboard speakers including executives and leaders.
• Moderate at events and support speakers/moderators with production teams.
• Reimagine event content for newsletters, articles and social formats to engage audiences.
• Anchor the weekly Healthcare of Tomorrow Bulletin email newsletter.
