Job summary

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services seeks an Editorial Standards and Graphic Design Coordinator to serve as a brand steward and technical lead within the Communications Office, ensuring all external materials are accurate, accessible, and aligned with the agency vision.

You will collaborate with leadership to establish a single source of truth for agency branding, oversee editorial quality, guide staff, and support publishing consistency while maintaining deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field.
• 2–4 years of work experience in a communication or related writing-intensive field.
• 2–4 years of direct editorial experience.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality oversight, operations support, and staff guidance to enhance editorial standards.
• Ensure all external materials are professional, factual and aligned with the agency vision.
• Maintain accessibility and 508 compliance across published documents.
