Job summary

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium is seeking a seasoned Graphic Designer to lead visual design across patient, employee, and organizational communications. You will safeguard the SEARHC brand, create print and digital materials, and help develop scalable design templates and systems for consistent brand usage.

The role emphasizes accessibility, clarity, and collaboration with diverse departments to elevate SEARHC’s mission and outreach in Southeast Alaska.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, Fine Arts, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated portfolio showcasing print, digital, and brand identity work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• 3+ years of professional graphic design experience.
• Experience managing brand standards or design systems.
• Experience creating enterprise-wide template libraries.
• Experience with Canva Enterprise, Monday.com.
• Experience working in healthcare, nonprofit, tribal, government, or mission-driven organizations.

Responsibilities

• Design a wide variety of print and digital materials, including: patient education materials, brochures, rack cards, flyers, posters, facility signage, event materials, presentation templates, recruitment marketing materials, internal communications assets, and digital graphics for web, email, social media, and intranet.
• Translate complex healthcare and organizational information into visually engaging, easy-to-understand communications.
• Ensure all designs align with accessibility, readability, and brand standards.
• Support systemwide campaigns, service line marketing initiatives, executive communications, and community engagement efforts.
• Serve as a primary steward of SEARHC's visual identity and maintain brand guidelines.
• Develop, refresh, and maintain a library of branded templates and easy-to-use templates for various materials.
• Organize and maintain the department's digital asset library and governance standards.
