Job summary

Avalere Health seeks an Editor to maintain quality and brand editorial style on assigned work in a fast-paced agency environment with multiple deadlines.

You will develop and socialize brand style guides, perform fact-checking, and advise on rhetoric and credibility while guiding teammates on editorial best practices.

This role requires rigorous attention to detail, proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Workfront, and a collaborative approach to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English (or equivalent) required.
• 2–4 years proofreading/editing experience in a fast-paced pharmaceutical agency or similar.
• Proficient in MS Office; AMA style, Dorland’s, PubMed knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality and brand editorial style on assigned work in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Create, maintain, and socialize brand style guides; fact-check and review content.
• Guide teammates on editorial matters and training on brand style and credibility.
