Job summary

Avalere Health is seeking an Editor to maintain quality and brand editorial style in a fast-paced agency environment with tight deadlines. You will create, maintain, and socialize brand stylebooks, perform fact-checks, and coordinate with team members to meet project goals.

You will guide teammates on editorial matters, ensure accuracy across copy and data visuals, and uphold SOPs while improving processes. Strong MS Word/PowerPoint skills and experience with Workfront Proof are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent eye for consistency and AMA style; fluent in English.
• Ability to work on complicated documents with focus for long periods.
• Strong editorial judgment and attention to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Style Guide Owner: Develops and maintains brand style guide and socializes it to the team.
• Editorial Authority: Reviews materials for correctness, credibility, decorum, and style.
• Communication: Writes and speaks professionally with colleagues and clients.
