Job summary

CACI International is seeking a Paralegal to support DOJ litigation and eDiscovery tasks. You will prepare and file court documents, organize and archive materials, and assist in depositions and trial preparation.

The role emphasizes document review, privilege protection, and factual/legal research. You should have a paralegal certificate, JD, or be a ABA law school student with at least one year of study, plus experience with LEXIS/Westlaw and eDiscovery tools.

Qualifications

• Requires paralegal certificate, JD, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school, having completed at least one year of study.
• One year of legal training or legal experience; or two years of college may substitute for the certificate.
• At least one year of litigation paralegal experience or project experience; trial experience is helpful.
• Familiarity with legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw; basic knowledge of ESI tools and eDiscovery procedures.

Responsibilities

• Compile, prepare, and summarize materials for discovery and motions; assist attorneys in litigation.
• Summarize depositions and maintain case files; perform simple legal research.
• Index and track discovery documents and exhibits for depositions and trial; prepare exhibit cross-references.
• Assist DOJ attorneys in the courtroom and review documents for relevance.
