Job summary

Bright Labs, part of Ankura, seeks an eDiscovery Director to lead client-facing projects across identification, collection, processing, review and production of electronic data related to litigation or regulatory investigations.

The role reports to Bright Labs leadership, coordinating with forensics, processing, and review teams, and guiding senior staff. Hybrid schedule across NY/DC/SF/LA/Chicago/other locations, with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Four years of prior experience as a consultant overseeing computer forensics and electronic discovery.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Team player comfortable in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interact confidently with senior management and lawyers/partners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end eDiscovery projects including identification, collection, processing, review and production of electronic data.
• Develop data collection strategies and coordinate with forensics and processing teams.
• Oversee 1st- to 3rd-tier review workflows, witness and trial preparation, and concept clustering guidance.
• Customize Relativity configurations and dashboards, and coordinate data loads to review tools.
• Provide status updates, documentation, and reports through engagement lifecycle.
• Support business development efforts by engaging with clients and preparing proposals and cost estimates.
