Job summary

Ankura, Bright Labs, an Ankura Company, seeks a Managing Director for Legal Technology & Data Analytics in New York. Lead the eDiscovery and digital forensics advisory team, deliver end‑to‑end workflows, and manage client engagements with cross‑functional collaboration to mitigate risk and ensure high‑quality outcomes.

You will drive strategy, oversee engagement teams, and mentor staff while advancing innovative analytical approaches and defensible technology solutions for complex investigations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent.
• 12+ years of experience in Digital Forensics or related space.
• Experience with forensic software such as EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite, Magnet AXIOM or similar.

Responsibilities

• Preserve and analyze electronically stored information (ESI) using standard tools and practices.
• Secure transfer of digital evidence while maintaining chain of custody.
• Maintain integrity of ESI for admissibility in court.
• Proactively research and recommend technology solutions and process improvements.
• Engage with clients daily and manage stakeholders and teams.
• Lead and mentor engagement staff and oversee risk management.
• Design, craft and deliver client proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.
