Job summary

Sullivan 180 Inc. is seeking a full-time Catskill Edible Garden Project (CEGP) Coordinator in Ferndale, NY.

This role combines hands-on garden work with program development, planning, and community education to connect gardening, food, health, education, and sustainability. The Coordinator collaborates with onsite Garden Coordinators, school administrators, students, families, and partners to create engaging programs and manage administration.

Qualifications

• Strong horticulture knowledge including plant materials, growth and propagation.
• Experience with garden and landscape maintenance using hand/power tools and equipment.
• Experience working with youth in classroom, garden, and outdoor settings.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, budgets, and priorities.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the edible garden program, including garden development and maintenance.
• Lead educational programming and school/community engagement.
• Handle program administration and coordination with partners and Sullivan 180 staff.
