Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant horticulture, gardening, agricultural, or field experience.
• Experience with garden and landscape maintenance and the safe operation of hand tools, power tools, and landscape equipment.
• Experience working with youth in classroom, garden and outdoor settings.
• Knowledge of garden-based education preferred (Farm to School, nutrition/culinary education, environmental education).
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with digital platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, budgets, and priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
• Able to lift 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• The Catskill Edible Garden Project (CEGP) Coordinator oversees the edible garden program, including garden development and maintenance, educational programming, school and community engagement, and program administration.
• The (CEGP) Coordinator works collaboratively with onsite Garden Coordinators, school administrators, students, families, community partners, and Sullivan 180 staff to create programming that connects gardening, food, health, education, and sustainability.
