Opportunity for an EDI Developer to join an enterprise team supporting the environment's EDI tool set, the creation & maintenance of EDI/B2B business processes, maps, and application integration!

This is a direct-hire position with a hybrid schedule, allowing telecommuting two days a week: in-office Mon, Wed, and Thu. Office is located in the Smyrna/Battery area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, modify, and maintain EDI/B2B business processes and maintain EDI/B2B maps.
Deploy solutions from the EDI/B2B test environments to the production environment.
Maintain and perform maintenance on development, test, and production EDI/B2B environments.
Tune EDI/B2B tools for optimal performance.
Monitor, Troubleshoot, and Maintain EDI/B2B processes.
Create and Maintain EDI/B2B documentation.
Ensure the integrity of transmitted data.
Suggest methods to improve EDI/B2B processes.
Interface with other departments as required.
Solve problems relating to EDI/B2B.
Participate in the testing, implementation of new EDI/B2B maps, business processes, applications and scripts.
Participate in EDI/B2B reporting activities.
Interact as needed with trading partners.
Interact with other applications and application owners to resolve EDI/B2B issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

2+ years’ experience with IBM B2Bi/Sterling Navigator
4 years minimum experience in EDI and/or B2B technologies
Strong Knowledge of EDI standards (X12, XML, BPEL)
Strong understanding of data transmission protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP, HTTP, TCP/IP)
Current Shell scripting experience
Proficient in EDI security, encryption/decryption
Experience with Unix/Linux environments and Oracle-based applications
Experience with providing customer service to internal and external customers
Available for a rotating on-call schedule and occasional travel
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
