Job summary

24 Seven Talent is seeking a detail-oriented EDI Coordinator for an onsite, freelance position in the Los Angeles area. The role involves daily processing of EDI orders, coordinating logistics, and ensuring timely delivery across multiple brands with major retailers.

Must be able to commute daily and be based in Los Angeles, CA. Ideal candidates have strong EDI management experience for manufacturers and familiarity with using 850/810/856/940/945 transaction sets.

Qualifications

• Expertise in outbound shipping processes, logistics management, and retailer compliance.
• Direct experience working with major retailers is highly desirable.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Self-driven and able to take full ownership of the EDI process following initial training.

Responsibilities

• Process and oversee daily EDI orders, ensuring all transactions meet customer specifications and compliance standards.
• Manage outbound shipments: issue pick tickets, prepare shipping documentation, and verify order fulfillment from start to finish.
• Coordinate logistics to ensure prompt deliveries and proactively resolve shipment or compliance issues.
• Liaise directly with major retailers (such as Nordstrom Rack and Ross) and other EDI accounts to maintain seamless transaction flow.
• Handle multiple brands concurrently, collaborating with internal teams and external partners as needed.
• Apply working knowledge of EDI transaction sets (e.g.,850/810/856/940/945) to support daily operations.
• Troubleshoot EDI errors and discrepancies, working with IT or third-party providers to resolve technical issues.
• Demonstrate adaptability by independently managing all EDI processes after a one-month training period.
