Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking an EDI Analyst who will act as the internal subject matter expert on EDI projects and inquiries. You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues, analyze trends, and drive improvements in shipment processes and documentation.

The role requires strong communication, independence, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, with responsibilities spanning from technical EDI troubleshooting to cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position; freight industry knowledge is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to interact well with others.
• Good organizational skills.
• Customer support experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of EDI Translator and ANSI X12 is desirable.
• FTP knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Resolve EDI issues timely and efficiently.
• Analyze trends and recommend solutions for Coordinator team to adopt.
• Provide back-up support to EDI Supervisor when needed.
• Provide subject matter expertise of shipment life cycle and supporting applications and processes.
• Drive automating, scaling and continuous improvement of business and internal processes with EDI.
• Respond to EDI customer inquiries regarding 210, 214, 211, and 204 documents.
• Work with customers, vendors and third-party partners to analyze requirements.
