Job summary

GE Vernova Advanced Research Center seeks an Embedded Computing Research Engineer to design, implement, and test edge solutions for industrial automation and enterprise platforms. You will contribute across the full lifecycle, from concept through verification, delivering secure, real-time embedded software in C/C++.

You will collaborate with teams, national labs, and government partners to mature research prototypes into GE Vernova product platforms, applying secure-by-design principles

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in CS/EE or related field with 1–5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in embedded software development using C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and test edge and embedded software for industrial platforms.
• Translate requirements into robust embedded designs and implementation plans.
• Develop firmware and application software for real-time embedded systems.
