Job summary

GE Vernova Operations LLC is seeking an Embedded Computing Research Engineer to develop and test edge solutions for embedded platforms powering industrial automation and enterprise software. You will contribute across full development lifecycle from concept to verification and help transition prototypes into products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 1–5 years of relevant industry experience in embedded systems or edge software.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded platforms and real-time constraints.
• Experience with hardware interfaces and industrial protocols is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and test edge and embedded software for industrial platforms.
• Translate requirements into robust embedded-system designs and plans.
• Build, run, and automate unit, integration, HIL, and system tests.
• Help mature research prototypes into GE Vernova products.
