Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking an experienced Cloudflare Developer (Platform Engineer) to design, build and scale edge-native solutions on the Cloudflare Development Platform for a global client in pharma. Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Cloudflare Development Platform experience.
• Proven expertise with Cloudflare Workers and edge computing.
• Strong understanding of APIs, event-driven services, and distributed systems.
• Security, performance optimization, and observability at the edge.
• Experience in enterprise or regulated environments is a plus.
• Good English communication skills (B2 level or higher).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain solutions using Cloudflare Workers and the Cloudflare Development Platform.
• Develop and deploy edge-native applications with high performance, security, and scalability.
• Implement and optimise Cloudflare AI tools (e.g., Workers AI, AI Gateway, Vectorize, related services).
• Integrate Cloudflare services with existing enterprise systems and cloud platforms.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, best practices, and platform standards.
• Troubleshoot, optimise, and harden production workloads.
• Collaborate closely with client engineering, security, and platform teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers as the team scales.
