Ford Energy seeks Forward Deployed Engineers to sit at the intersection of engineering and business impact. You will be embedded with internal stakeholders and customers to understand operational problems and design, build, and deploy software across the full stack, including Go, Python, TypeScript, and cloud infrastructure on GCP.

You will contribute to AI-native automation and edge capabilities that solve real problems for Ford Energy’s customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a software engineer with hands-on development and systems architecture.
• Experience spanning greenfield development and enterprise platform integrations is valued.

Responsibilities

• Build an AI-native organization using generative AI tools across the SDLC to deliver practical AI/ML capabilities and automation.
• Embed with operations, product, and customer teams to translate learnings into shipped software.
• Own delivery end to end across application code (Go), cloud infrastructure on GCP, and automation pipelines.
• Build and secure API integrations and edge systems that extend ERP, CRM, and MES capabilities.
• Architect quickly with a bias for simple, secure, reliable production-ready software.
• Turn evolving needs into deployed software while maintaining security and reliability.
• Partner with product, operations, and customers to ensure delivered work solves real problems.
• Uphold engineering standards through design and code reviews.
