Job summary

HP, Inc. in Palo Alto seeks a Senior Competitive Intelligence Leader to own the edge in PC strategy, monitor competitor portfolio, and brief senior management.

You will lead a small, high-caliber team that delivers live intelligence on competitors and the AI ecosystem, translating signals into clear strategic risks and opportunities. You will synthesize data into concise guidance for PS Strategy Projects, present to division presidents, and shape HP's pre-emptive posture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in competitive intelligence, corporate or competitive strategy, equity research, management consulting, or product/market strategy.
• Strong working knowledge of the AI landscape across software and hardware models, on-device/edge AI and accelerators.
• Exceptional communication — verbal above all — with senior executives up to president level.

Responsibilities

• Run deep, continuous competitor analysis and maintain living intelligence on core competitors.
• Benchmark business and financial performance across the competitive set.
• Synthesize findings into concise, decision-ready insights for senior leadership.
• Lead and develop a team of four analysts, setting research agenda and quality bar.
• Drive strategic direction for HP by supporting Strategy Projects with research and presentations.
• Manage a team of 3-4 junior members.
