Job summary

Sonrava is seeking an EDDA to provide outstanding patient care and assist doctors with procedures. The role emphasizes chair-side support, radiographs, and maintaining a smooth patient flow in a state-of-the-art practice.

You will work closely with doctors and staff to ensure exceptional patient experiences, educate patients, and uphold HIPAA and safety standards while contributing to daily huddles and quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification as required by state or ability to become certified.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia certification preferred.
• Maintain OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with chair-side manner, prioritizing patient experience.
• Be present and ready for all assigned shift times.
• Assist doctors and hygienists with procedures and anticipate needs.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs of high quality.
• Review patient charts and transcribe doctor notes.
• Prepare equipment and operatory per guidelines.
• Maintain schedule and patient flow with efficient procedures.
• Educate patients and address questions or concerns.
• Demonstrate teamwork to deliver excellent patient experiences.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure quality patient service.
• Assist front office with scheduling follow-ups and tracking lab cases.
• Monitor supplies and order using approved formulary.
• Promote Sonrava services and products.
• Complete checklists and participate in daily huddles.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
