Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Active Dental Assistant license as required by state.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with chair-side manner and teamwork.
• Assist doctor and hygienist with dental procedures and maintain patient flow.
• Review patient charts before doctor arrives and document health history.
• Fabricate temporary crowns, place fillings, assist with prosthodontics.
• Take, develop, and mount radiographs and intra-oral photos.
• Sterilize and prepare equipment and operatory before and after appointments.
• Track lab cases and monitor dental supplies.
• Maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliance; multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Educate patients and address questions to improve comfort.
• Support administrative team with scheduling and referrals.
