Job summary

Sonrava Health in Loveland, CO is seeking a Dental Assistant focused on delivering exceptional patient care and a smooth clinical workflow. You will assist the doctor and hygienists, take radiographs, prepare the operatory, and support front desk scheduling while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, active radiography certification, and DA certification as required by state. CPR certification is preferred and OSHA training ongoing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia certification preferred.
• Maintain OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with excellent chair-side manner, prioritizing the patient.
• Be present, engaged and ready to work at all assigned shift times.
• Assist doctors with dental procedures and anticipate their needs.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs of high quality.
• Review patient charts, log health history and transcribe notes.
• Prepare and sterilize equipment and operatory per guidelines.
• Maintain schedule and patient flow with efficient procedures.
• Educate patients and address questions or concerns.
• Demonstrate teamwork to deliver outstanding patient experience.
• Support front office scheduling and track lab cases as needed.
• Monitor dental supplies and order using approved formulary.
• Promote Sonrava services and retail products.
• Complete checklists and participate in daily huddles.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and OSHA policies.
