Job summary
Live Well Homecare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Transition to Practice program in the Emergency Department, working night shifts in a dynamic hospital setting. The role offers full-time hours, structured education, and clinical support to build confidence in emergent care.

Qualifications
- Current Illinois Nursing License required.
- ADN or higher in Nursing; BSN within five years if holding ADN.
- CPR/BLS certification mandatory; ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications to be obtained within three months.
- Minimum of one year of acute care nursing experience; ED experience or 6–9 months ED-specific experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care following state and hospital policies.
- Assess patients using critical thinking, recognize changes, and prioritize interventions.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and document assessments and interventions accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, delegate tasks responsibly, and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
