Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year experience in direct patient caregiving roles preferred.
• Certification as PCA/CNA preferred.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support required.
• Missouri Class E driving license within 90 days, where applicable.
• CEVO certification completed within 90 days of hire or per class schedule.
• Mandt training course.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct and indirect patient care activities to improve outcomes and safety.
• Document information in patient records in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with vital signs, 12-lead EKGs, specimen collection, and glucometer testing.
• Support patient mobility, hygiene, dressing, and daily living activities.
• Assist with medical exams and procedures and monitor patient status.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team; de-escalate when needed.
