Job summary

UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL seeks a Nursing Assistant for 90% FTE. Three 12-hour shifts from 11:00am to 11:00pm, every other weekend with rotating holidays. Benefits include PTO, medical, dental, vision, and more.

On-site work with opportunities for tuition assistance and career growth. Certification as a Nursing Assistant and BLS/CPR are required. Computer experience preferred; on-call and overtime may be involved.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent is required.
• Basic Life Support/CPR certification required.
• Computer experience preferred, including basic EHR usage.

Responsibilities

Additional components of compensation include impressive shift differentials - $3/ hr evening, $4 hr night, and $3.25/ hr weekend shift differential as applicable for hours worked.

Additional components of compensation may include overtime and on-call pay.

Qualifications

Licenses & Certifications

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant, EMT, Completion of fundamentals of nursing course and be registered on the Illinois Department of Health Registry or a nurse who has complete RN or LPN training in another country, or RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification. Required
• Basic EKG and/or Phlebotomy. Preferred
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
