Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Winchester Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Tech on a per diem rotating shift. Working under a registered nurse, you will assist in emergency care, support comfort and safety, and help the care team deliver timely services.

Qualified candidates include CNAs or nursing students with clinical rotation or ER experience; EMTs or those with basic phlebotomy and EKG skills are preferred. High school diploma is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or nursing student with completion of one medical-surgical clinical rotation or one year clinical care experience
• EMT or emergency room clinical experience
• EKG experience
• Phlebotomy experience
• High school diploma/equivalent strongly preferred
• Basic computer skills and crisis prevention/intervention are a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN in delivering emergency care and procedures.
• Support patient comfort and safety in the ED.
• Collaborate with the care team to improve patient experience and outcomes.
