Advocate Condell Medical Center – Emergency Department is hiring a full-time patient care teammate. Typical shifts are 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. with rotating weekends and holidays. The role includes phlebotomy, patient transport, wound care, Foley catheter care, and lab specimen collection under RN supervision.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, 1 year of experience, and varying certifications; BLS must be completed within 6 months unless exempt. Proficiency with EHR is desired.

Formación

• High School Graduate.
• 1 year of experience typically required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 6 months unless exempt by department leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physicians and RNs in technical patient care including phlebotomy.
• Transport patients to departments and monitor vital signs.
• Perform wound care and Foley catheter insertions as assigned.
• Obtain lab specimens and communicate observations to the nurse.
• Document procedures and assist with charging in the EHR.
