Job summary

Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital – Emergency Department is hiring a Night ED Tech to support nursing and physicians in a high‑volume environment. The role requires patient care, vital sign monitoring, equipment setup, phlebotomy, EKGs, transport, and adherence to Infection Control policies.

The position is full‑time, 36 hours per week, night shift 6pm–6am, with benefits eligibility and a pay range of $21.85–$32.80 per hour.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: 2-3 yrs hospital patient care experience or completion of nursing school clinical rotations.
• Skills: keyboard use, ability to move/lift patients and push carts.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced ED environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care as directed by nursing or medical staff.
• Assist with invasive procedures and bedside monitor setup.
• Transport patients, supplies and equipment as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of ED areas and equipment.
• Complete rounds hourly and communicate patient needs to the nursing staff.
