Job summary

MidState Medical Center in Connecticut’s Hartford HealthCare network is seeking an Emergency Department RN for the night shift. The role involves collaborative care in a busy ED, with 7:15 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. shifts and every third weekend and holiday.

Under the Nurse Manager, you will apply evidence-based practice to develop plans of care, meeting physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and families. BSN preferred; CT RN license required.

Qualifications

• Current CT RN license is required.
• BSN preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
• Self-directed in patient care.
• Previous Emergency Nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing process to develop a plan of care that meets physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and educational needs.
• Follow standards of practice and hospital policies under Nurse Manager supervision.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
