Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA is hiring a Full-Time New Graduate Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a three 12-hour shift role with required on-call, in a fast-paced ED with teamwork-focused care.

New graduates will participate in a nurse residency, with expectations to complete the NCLEX prior to March 2027. A sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 is available for qualified applicants and there is free parking and access to education assistance.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license and NCLEX-RN completed.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care during first year of practice with supervision.
• Under guidance of preceptors, build clinical skills and judgment.
• Conduct patient assessments and contribute to care plans.
