Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is hiring a Full Time Emergency Department Registered Nurse for night shifts (7:00pm-7:00am). The ED is a 37-bed Trauma Center and Certified Primary Stroke Center, offering a demanding, high-acuity environment with a supportive team.

Qualifications include RN licensure (compact or Virginia), ACLS/PALS or ENPC within 1 year, and BLS within 90 days. New grads welcome; sign-on up to $20,000 for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• RN license (Compact/Multi-State or Virginia single state)
• ACLS within 1 year of hire
• PALS or ENPC within 1 year
• BLS within 90 days of hire
• 2 years ED nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform competent nursing care using the nursing process
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care
• Coordinate teaching and health promotion and discharge planning

Skills
