Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring an RN for the Emergency Department. The role offers an up to $20,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants and a starting pay rate for new graduates with less than 1 year of experience at $36.00/hour.

Hours are Full Time (36 hr/week) with Night Shift 7p-7a. The ED welcomes new grads and experienced nurses transitioning into ED, with a 20-week Transition to Practice/Nurse Residency program and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
• BSN or MSN (Preferred)
• BLS required within 90 days of hire
• ACLS & PALS or ENPC within 1 year of hire
• Minimum of 1 year emergency, intensive care, intermediate care or med/surg nursing experience preferred. New Grads are welcome to apply!

Responsabilités

• Provide competent nursing care using the nursing process
• Meet standards of practice and professional performance
• Care for high-volume, fast-paced ED with over 40 beds and 100,000+ visits annually
