Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• RN licensure in state or compact state licensure required.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process and policies.
• Performs patient assessments and documents findings, reporting changes to the care team.
• administers medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Develops and evaluates individualized care plans with the team.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR/code team activities.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Maintains infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Documents care thoroughly in the medical record.
• Engages in professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Telemetry duties include monitoring heart rhythms and reporting trends.
