Job summary

TriHealth seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, OH. This full-time day shift (7:00am–7:30pm) position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a 36-hour work week within a high-acuity ED.

You will deliver direct and indirect holistic care, collaborate with physicians, and support patients and families through critical moments in one of Cincinnati’s busiest EDs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or nursing diploma required.
• BSN must be obtained within 5 years of hire.
• Active RN license and BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient and family assessments; document per TriHealth standards.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care.
• Provide safe, therapeutic nursing care while maintaining dignity and autonomy.
• Recognize and respond to emergency and rapidly changing clinical situations.
• Communicate effectively with providers and the care team.
• Complete all assigned patient care and documentation within required timeframes.
• Serve as a resource by sharing clinical knowledge and assisting with staff development.
