Job summary

TriHealth Bethesda Butler Hospital in Hamilton, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Care Unit on a Full Time Night Shift. A $5k sign-on bonus is offered. Location at 3125 Hamilton Mason Rd, Hamilton, OH 45011.

Bi-weekly 72 hours, 7:00am - 7:30pm, with every 3rd weekend and holiday rotations. The role emphasizes rapid assessment, holistic nursing, and collaboration with nurse-physician teams. We support BSN attainment, professional development, and extensive benefits including

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
• New hires required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers).
• Registered Nurse licensure.
• Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs at various stages of the life cycle.
• Preferred membership in related professional organization.
• Previous RN experience preferred but not required.
• Preferred certification in specialty.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document initial and ongoing patient/family assessments.
• Develop, communicate, and update individualized plans of care, including discharge planning.
• Provide safe, patient-centered care that supports autonomy, dignity, and diversity.
• Recognize and respond to emergencies and take appropriate clinical action.
• Carry out physician orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Complete assigned care and documentation within required timeframes.
• Administer medications/treatments safely and perform technical skills per policy.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise the plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Supervise and delegate tasks appropriately to other team members.
• Serve as a clinical resource and support training/education of staff and students.
• Maintain current clinical knowledge and adhere to organizational and departmental standards.
• Function in relief charge/resource roles as requested.
