Job summary

TriHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 8300 Medical-Surgical Oncology unit at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, OH. The role offers a full-time night schedule (7:00pm–7:30am) with a $5k sign-on bonus and a 72-hour bi-weekly commitment, including every third weekend and holiday rotations.

The 44-bed 8300 unit provides diverse cancer care and surgical oncology support, with ongoing education and opportunities for specialty certification.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS/CPR certification required
• New hires must obtain BSN within 5 years of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform and document initial and ongoing patient/family assessments.
• Develop, communicate, and update individualized plans of care, including discharge planning.
• Provide safe, patient-centered care that supports autonomy, dignity, and diversity.
• Recognize and respond to emergencies and take appropriate clinical action.
• Carry out physician orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Complete assigned care and documentation within required timeframes.
• Administer medications/treatments safely and perform technical skills per policy.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise the plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Supervise and delegate tasks appropriately to other team members.
• Serve as a clinical resource and support training/education of staff and students.
• Maintain current clinical knowledge and adhere to organizational and departmental standards.
• Function in relief charge/resource roles as requested.
