Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Resource Registered Nurse to float among Floyd, Polk Medical, Behavioral Health, FSED-Trion, and Cherokee Medical. This full-time role requires 36 hours per week with a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour and benefits eligibility.

Applicants must have a BSN preference, active RN license, BLS, and strong clinical judgment. Expect collaboration with diverse teams and ongoing professional development in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice where client is located (state(s)).
• BLS certification required; other certifications may be needed by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care with patient/family involvement.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ensures timely, accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and treatments per clinical protocols.
• Communicates effectively and delegates appropriately to team members.
• Pursues professional development and maintains required certifications.
