Covenant Health is seeking a Patient Registration Specialist for the Emergency Department at Fort Sanders Regional. This role is full-time with variable shifts and 72 hours per pay period, supporting 24/7 ED registration and patient flow.

You will collect demographic and financial information, verify insurance, and handle cash transactions while ensuring EMTALA compliance and top-notch patient service.

Formación

• 6 months or more of customer-facing experience.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with registration workflows.
• Ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced environment in ED registration.

Responsabilidades

• Perform Quick Registration for Emergency Department encounters.
• Gather demographic and financial information with EMTALA compliance.
• Verify insurance benefits and collect co-pays/deposits.
• Use electronic systems to complete forms and provide patient education.
