Job summary

Fairview Health Services invites applications for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming, MN. The ED team delivers rapid, high-quality care for a broad patient population in a 25-bed unit and Level IV trauma setting.

The RN supports assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care, collaborating with physicians, APPs, and staff to ensure safe, effective care. Requires ED/ICU experience and MN RN license.

Qualifications

• 1 year of ED or ICU RN experience.
• MN Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (AHA or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and identify expected nursing outcomes.
• Collaborate with patient, family and health team for an integrated care plan.
• Develop an individualized plan based on age, condition and needs.
• Evaluate care and patient response to interventions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and care teams to ensure partnership-based care.
• Utilize evidence-based practice and care pathways to improve outcomes.
