Job summary

Fairview Range in Hibbing, MN is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department. This Level IV trauma center and Acute Stroke Ready hospital cares for a wide range of patients and operates 24 hours a day with an adjacent Urgent Care department.

This part-time position features 48-60 hours per two weeks, 12-hour day/evening shifts, and every third weekend. You will provide direct patient care and help manage unit operations as charge nurse when needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Emergency Department or 2 years of ICU experience preferred.
• Current Minnesota RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/TNCC preferred or obtained within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to ED patients and assist with unit operations as charge nurse when required.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Recognize and report changes in patient condition to physicians promptly.
• Collaborate with ED physicians, APPs, and support staff to deliver safe, high-quality care.
