Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Wyoming, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Lakes Medical Center. The ED is a fast-paced, 25-bed unit and Level IV Trauma Center serving 32,000+ patients annually with about 85 visits per day.

The role is 0.6 FTE with 12-hour night shifts from 7pm to 7:30am and a rotating weekend schedule. Candidates will need MN RN license and BLS certification; a BSN is preferred. Fairview offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of ED or ICU RN experience.
• MN Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and identify expected nursing outcomes.
• Collaborate with patient, family and health team to develop an integrated plan of care.
• Develop an individualized plan based on age, condition, and needs.
• Evaluate care and patient response to interventions and outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families to promote partnership-based care.
• Use evidence-based practice and care pathways to improve patient outcomes.
