Job summary

Lake Region Healthcare in Fergus Falls, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department on a casual basis. The RN will provide nursing care using the nursing process, coordinate patient care, and maintain professional interactions with patients, families, staff and physicians.

The role requires MN RN license, one year of medical/surgical experience, ACLS/PALS/TNCC training preferred or obtainable within a year, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing with current Minnesota licensure.
• ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications preferred or to be obtained within one year.
• Healthcare Provider CPR certification required or to be obtained within 6 months.
• Minimum of one year medical/surgical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
• Supervise patient care and coordinate nursing activities.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, staff and physicians.
• Follow nursing process to prescribe, delegate and coordinate care.
