Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care medical-surgical experience (or equivalent) required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required.
• American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification; required within twelve months of hire.
• Must pass basic medication test prior to hire.
• Must pass basic tele test by end of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process and ENA standards.
• Assesses health status and interprets data to support nursing judgments.
