Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with various personality types.
• Position requires the physical ability to exert force as required.
• Must complete a medical examination after offer of hire.

Responsibilities

• Logs all patients in the Emergency Department in the Computer.
• Enters and verifies orders in the computer system.
• Communicates appropriately to charge nurse and coworkers.
• Retrieves all lab results and brings them to charge nurse's attention.
• Maintains good working relationships within and outside the department.

Skills

Ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds occasionally
