Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serves as unit receptionist and assists visitors and staff with information needs.
• Enters physician orders in the hospital system and notifies RN of STAT/NOW orders.
• Assists in activities of daily living and maintains patient care in the unit.
• Supports environmental safety and cleanliness of patient rooms and equipment.
• Collects data (height, weight, vital signs) and documents on forms.
• Operates portable tech and handheld devices for documentation and point-of-care testing.
• Performs other basic nursing tasks delegated by the RN and helps with transfers and transports.
