Job summary

You will support the Patient Access Manager with daily operations, handling insurance verification, pre-registration, registration, and patient payments while maintaining strong customer service.

The supervisor helps drive timely access to care, reduces denials and delays, and collaborates with finance and operations to improve processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years experience in Access Services (registration, patient accounting, and financial services) or one year of supervisory/management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Patient Access Manager/Regional Director with management and leadership of the Patient Access department; duties include insurance verification, pre-registration, collection of patient payments, document distribution, financial triage, and registration.
• Assists with tactical and operational decisions to sustain high customer service and generate optimal financial results.
• Supports development of Patient Access to incorporate additional patient services and business functions as set forth by the AVP, Patient Access and Financial Clearance Services.
