Job summary

The Paramedic will perform licensure-appropriate procedures, assist with data collection, and participate in the rapid response team. BLS required within 30 days; ACLS/PALS within 90 days; computer skills essential.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Paramedic with the State of Oklahoma.
• BLS healthcare provider within 30 days of hire, ACLS and PALS within 90 days of hire.
• Computer and office equipment skills.
• Ability to work in ED and med/surg units under physician and RN direction.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in patient assessment and data collection for ED presentations.
• Gathers data for patient assessments and documents before discharge.
• Notifies ED provider of changes and maintains clear communication.
• Implements care plans under RN direction and follows policy.
• Performs licensure-appropriate procedures and delegates tasks as allowed.
• Monitors patients with cardiac needs and interprets dysrhythmias timely.
• Maintains confidentiality and ensures a clean, stocked workspace.
• Maintains equipment and performs routine ECGs per policy.
