Job summary

Community Hospital OKC is hiring a Full-Time Paramedic for day shifts in Oklahoma City. The role supports ED and med/surg patient care and participates in rapid response teams, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus and adherence to CARES values.

The position requires current Oklahoma paramedic licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS within specified timelines. The successful candidate will collaborate with nursing and physician staff, perform licensure-appropriate procedures, and maintain equipment and patient data

Qualifications

• Current Paramedic license in Oklahoma.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications within required timelines.
• Proficient in using computers and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and assist RN in ED/med-surg in a timely manner.
• Collect data for assessments and document before discharge.
• Notify ED provider of changes in patient condition.
• Interpret information for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Carry out plan of care under RN direction.
• Perform licensure-appropriate procedures and delegate tasks.
• Monitor cardiac status during transport; communicate findings clearly.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and a safe work environment.
• Keep equipment and supplies stocked; report faults.
• Perform 12-lead ECG per policy and procedure.
• Handle desk duties and professional phone etiquette.
