Qualifications

• Current Licensed Paramedic with the State of Oklahoma required.
• BLS within 30 days, ACLS and PALS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in the assessment of the patient and/or situations in a timely, consistent and systematic manner.
• Gathers data to be used in assessments for each patient.
• Notifies ED provider and/or assigned nurse when changes occur.
• Interprets information for pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
• Implements plan of care under direction of the RN to achieve outcomes.
• Performs procedures within licensure and guidelines.
• Delegates tasks to unlicensed staff.
• Monitors patients requiring cardiac monitoring during transport.
• Maintains confidentiality of patients and hospital information.
• Ensures a clean, stocked work area and restocks supplies daily.
