DCH Health System is seeking a Nurse Team Leader to oversee the Emergency Department/psychiatric-adjacent unit, ensuring safe patient care and smooth operations. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating shifts, and guiding care plans for complex patients.

The Team Leader will mentor clinicians, participate in PI activities, and maintain compliance with hospital standards. Weekend and holiday coverage may be required to meet unit needs.

Formación

• Registered Nurse license required in Alabama or multistate.
• BLS certification current or within 30 days of start date.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience; leadership or supervisory exposure preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate unit activities and lead staffing and patient assignments.
• Supervise nursing care and evaluate patient care quality.
• Promote efficient patient flow with admissions and discharges.
• Maintain records for orientation, in-service and competency assessments.
• Lead unit huddles and participate in house-wide meetings.
